Hello friends! My name is Anna Krause. Welcome to my website.

I am a 30-year-old wife, mama, horse lover (of course), and photographer. I’m married to my wonderfully supportive husband, Kris, and together we have our 3-year-old son named Lane. We live in the Sierra Foothills of California, in a small town called Valley Springs. We have 3 horses: Quin, Oreo and Iggy. Pictured is Quin, my little heart horse, and she is a 17-year-old registered Quarter Horse who was trained as a cowhorse (by 2 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity champions! Jake Gorrell & newest champ, Lance Johnston - also the ranch she came from. I'm kind of an NRCHA nerd these days sorrynotsorry). She has spent her recent years being retired and loved on, with scratches & cuddles being some of her most favorite things.

I fell in love with horses at a very young age, but didn’t begin riding until I was 12. I was actually a little terrified of horses when I was little, but was introduced to horseback riding as a therapeutic outlet after the loss of a loved one. It didn’t take long for me to discover how fun (addicting?) they are to be around, and I developed a really strong passion for understanding them. Horses have so many wonderful and individual characteristics, and I found myself wanting to capture that and share it with others – especially with the people that love them.
